Here is a great book illustrated by Wizard of Oz artist John R. Neill: Children’s Poems that Never Grow Old, copyright 1922 by Reilly & Lee. A packed 298-page book with poetry from nursery rhymes like Little Miss Muppet, Mary’s Lamb, the Owl and the Pussycat, and many, many others. Illustrated with gorgeous full color plates by Neill. Compiled by Benoit, 1st and only edition except for the boring reprint books on demand. Quite scarce in decent condition–I can find only one other copy online at time of listing, with a scrappy cover plate and it has been rebound.
This book is in good condition. Pastedown on cover intact and attractive. Spine and top rear cover with some staining as shown. Inside, hinges are intact and endpapers are clean and unmarked. Only 7 of 8 color plates are present, and those in very good condition, clear and bright. Some toning to pages opposite as shown.
