Weird and wonderful concept art for Disney’s Return to Oz movie, produced by famed illustrator Maurice Sendak (of Where the Wild Things Are). The 10×14″ print features Dorothy, Tik-Tok and the Wheeler. Disney hired Sendak to do some early design work for the film, and the print is signed M Sendak ’80 in tiny print at lower left. The print is on card stock and has a few pin holes in upper margin and old tape marks on back, otherwise in very good condition.
