Oz auctioneer, bibliophile and illustrator Dick Martin drew other things not related to Oz. This includes a gig he had for a greeting card company in the 50s, where he designed a great variety of comic cards. This is a birthday card you’d never see today–it has two tiny (fake) cigarettes that you’re supposed to put in the rabbit’s mouth and light (then blow out to see smoke)! The front of the card (“King Size Wishes”) has Martin’s DM initials on the front. In very good condition, light creasing with pencil notation on back, complete with two mini-cigarettes in envelope.
