Here is a desirable item for the serious Oz collector: Accessories for The Wonderful Game of Oz, published by Parker Bros in the early 1900s! This game version with the accessories issued separately in a small red box, rather than with the large box, was issued in the early 1930s according to Bill Thompson’s Baum Bugle article about the game. The box has grey lettering and includes 4 wooden game pieces, a dice cup, 6 wooden dice that spell out W-I-Z-A-R-D, and instruction booklet. No game board, but if you already have it, or meed extra parts, you are ready to go.
The red box has light wear, the game cup has a vertical line but is not cracked, and the dice, and game pieces are in very good condition. The cardboard insert is included, but has a tear. The instructions have a large tear across the center along the fold line, and some pencil writing, but are still usable.
