An elaborate production with many stunning, full color pochoir illustrations by Max Daniel-Girard (1890-1970—alluring women and fabulous creatures, some with gilt accents–must see photos! With 6 page publisher’s brochure for other Collection Francaise titles laid in (with associated page toning). Deckled foredge with top edges uncut throughout, so some illustration pages do not fully open. Very good, some wear and corner fold to cover.
