Here is a lovely little copy of “Alice’s Adventures Under Ground”, after Lewis Carroll’s original manuscript which later became Alice in Wonderland. An early facsimile book copy of Carroll’s handwritten manuscript, heavily illustrated with Carroll’s illustrations rather than the traditional Tenniel ones. Published by Panda Prints Inc, printed by Edward Stern in Philly, undated, circa mid 20th century. Titled “Alice’s Adventures Under Ground” on color title page.
With a wonderful color cover with Alice and the white rabbit, also illustrated on rear cover, and in a decorated slipcase. Book is in near fine condition, slipcase is fair with soiling and torn top. A must for the Alice collector.
