A beautiful 22.5″ panoramic postcard of Chicago’s skyline from early 1900s. Includes many iconic buildings that were important in L Frank Baum’s and W W Denslow’s Chicago tenure, where they collaborated on Father Goose His Book and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Includes the Fine Arts Building (where Denslow had a studio), The Illinois Athletic Club (assume this is the Chicago Athletic Club where Baum was a member), and the Montgomery Ward Building. In ful color, folds in four sections, with a postal address and stamp on the back. In very good condition, but date on postmark is illegible.
