First edition, 2nd printing, with the same cover style as the 1st printing but with the last page now being 301 (Book Collector’s Guide to L Frank Baum.)

Book has a nice gilt decorated cover with some wear to the cloth edges, and a black mark at top of spine as shown. Also a light stain to rear cover. Old prices to front endpaper as shown, one 10c and one $99.99! Rear hinge is cracked. 6 plates present and in nice overall shape, with a little staining to frontis. Pages in good condition with some finger soiling, and last gathering is a little loose. A relatively hard to find early Baum title, offered at a nice price!
